The Power of Blessings

Christmas is a time for giving.
In Pranic Healing we understand the power of thoughts, feelings, actions and how the simple act of giving activates the heart chakra and changes your life.

What is the function of the heart chakra??
The heart chakra is also called the centre of the higher emotions. These include:
Love, peace, serenity, joy, compassion, kindness, equanimity, gentleness, tenderness, caring, consideration, patience, sensitivity, prosperity & affluence!
There are many ways of activating the heart centre and many qualities available to you when your heart centre is activated.

What are the consequences of a more of these qualities in your life??
We are blessed and the Law of Karma helps to understand the power of what we do.
‘Karma is simply ‘cause & effect’ or ‘what you sow so you reap’.
‘When you plant good seeds you harvest good fruits’ and ‘it is in giving that we receive’. (Master Choa Kok Sui)

Giving can be in many forms –time, attention, love, patience, encouragement, forgiveness, acceptance and gifts…to name a few.
In Pranic Healing we also learn that blessings are a great gift to give and can take many forms:
Blessing the earth, the people of the world, the trouble spots, difficult people, family members, situations in the past and the things of the future.
The power of blessing can be done anytime to any situation. All it involves is an intention, a prayer and an activation of the heart chakra.
Master Choa Kok Sui has given us this powerful blessing technique:
"May the entire earth, every person, every being, without exception be blessed with Divine light, with Divine peace, Divine love and Divine power.
May you and your family, friends, work colleagues and all the communities you are part of be blessed with happiness, good health, love & harmony, wisdom, spirituality, abundance and prosperity. Blessings be to all."

May each and every one of us be blessed in 2015.
See you in the new year,
Love & Blessings

Why learn Pranic Healing?

'All beings have an energy field around them, often known as the aura that looks like a luminous ball of light. Aura works like a battery; it keeps our body healthy and alive.
Anything in life that disturbs us, from bad weather, improper hygiene and malnutrition to stress, fear, sadness and frustrations makes this luminous energy field dimmer, imbalanced and full of holes and greyish energies. This, in long run appears as pain, discomfort, physical and psychological problems.
To remain healthy, happy and in a good shape, we must take care of our energy body!
Just as we take a daily shower to keep the physical body clean, the energy body also needs cleansing to maintain a good health.
With Pranic Healing, we are able to detect the problems and imbalances in the aura and carefully remove them using a fairly simple technique that involves no touching, no drug and anyone can learn to do it.
Once the aura is balanced and bright, our wellbeing is guaranteed.
Pranic Healing provides the science behind living healthily, supported by tons and tons of researches and testimonials all around the world.

The different methods of cleaning and energizing the aura and chakras are all parts of Basic Pranic Healing workshop'.
This description is from Master Glen Mendoza introduction to the Basic Pranic Healing Course
Do you want to know more? You are welcome to call or check out the details of the next Basic Pranic Healing Course on October 25th & 26th

Two Types of Hearts

'For there to be peace on earth, there must be peace within each of us ...
For there to be love on earth, there must be love within each of us'
Master Choa Kok Sui teaches that …for peace and love the first step is that the seed of forgiveness be planted in each of us.

What about our hearts?
What kind of expressions and descriptions do we use when describing our behaviour?

Brave hearted, kind hearted, sweet, loving, golden, patient, compassionate, generous, big, open, whole hearted .....OR....Hard hearted, mean, cold, black, cruel, heavy, half hearted

Can these two states or vibration levels exist simultaneously?
Never.
It will always be an either/or and it will always be our choice, our decision in each moment!

This is the basis of the Law of Karma.
Whatever seeds I plant I will harvest those fruits!
From whichever ‘heartedness’ I am acting from.
Through a daily practice of Twin Hearts meditation (on loving kindness) we can gradually transform our inner world.

What is the consequences of doing this inner transformation?
We are filled with peace, love and forgiveness and this leads to a transformation of our outer world.

As the Buddha says:
'In the end, only three things matter:
  •  How much you loved,
  • How gently you lived and
  • How gracefully you let go of the things not meant for you'

We invite you to join in our Monday evening Twin Hearts Meditation here at the Pranic Healing Centre. For more meditation details see website

What is Arhatic Yoga?

Master Choa Kok Sui’s Arhatic Yoga is a comprehensive system of spiritual practices that anyone can follow on a regular basis to rapidly and safely accelerate spiritual evolution and union with their Divine Nature.

Master Stephen Co goes on to explain:
First, the role of the Teacher in the life of the spiritual practitioner is explained and clarified.

Then extensive purification of the physical, etheric, emotional and mental vehicles are taught to prepare the body for the inflow of Divine Energies.

This step is critical. As the Bible says, one should not pour new wine (Soul Force) into old wine skins (unprepared and impure bodies). This involves specialized breathing techniques and simple and easy to follow physical exercises to quickly purify the physical and etheric bodies. These physical exercises are simple enough to be done by anyone.

These breathing practices gradually purge the ancient seeds (negative thought patterns, pent up emotions and tendencies from past and present lives) lodged in the chakras. Thus the chakras, meridians, astral body and mental body is cleansed to allow an increased flow of Divine Energy.
Concurrently, powerful meditations are introduced to the students to accelerate the communication of the bodies with their Higher Souls. The Higher Soul provides the precious energy to safely awaken and simultaneously regulate the Sacred Fire or Kundalini Energy.

This method ensures a safe and gradual awakening of the Sacred Fire, thereby minimizing the symptoms of Kundalini Syndrome like: overheating of the body, hallucinations, "spaciness," uncontrollable body shakes after spiritual practices, uncontrolled anger, medical illnesses that cannot be diagnosed, unexplained bad luck and others.

Arhatic Yoga courses are offered each year in Brisbane and to learn more please call or check out our website.

Why is it important to meditate regularly?

Do you take a shower every day?
Practicing Twin Hearts meditation is like taking a Spiritual Shower.
When your Aura is clean, you see through things more clearly.
Even you Good Luck increases.

When doing Twin Hearts Meditation, Divine Energy radiates throughout your aura.
Unwholesome emotions and thoughts are expelled and your mind becomes calm and peaceful.

When the water is turbulent, it is difficult to see through it.
Meditation on Twin Hearts reduces inner turbulence.

The virtue of generosity.

‘The soul develops by giving not by accumulating!
You have to plant in order to harvest.
When you give, it is like planting seeds.
It comes back to you many, many times.

If you want to receive love, give love.
If you want to receive money, give money.

Generosity brings good luck!’

What are energetic cords?

Our physical body is surrounded by our energy body or aura.
How I manage my energy body affects me physically, mentally and emotionally.
It will affect how I see the world and live my life.
According to Master Choa Kok Sui,
when I  generate a thought, the thought attaches itself to the object contemplated.
The action of the thought extends a portion of my aura to the object of attention.
This extended aura takes the form of a thin thread of prana called an energetic cord.

‘Naturally the stronger the emotional connection to the person, object or issue of attention (either positive or negative) the stronger and more tenacious the cord’.
(The Power of Prana by Master Stephen Co & Eric Robins p 67).

So each time I put my attention on or have a reaction to something or someone I create an energetic cord. Hence the sayings: ‘energy follows thought’ … ‘the chi follows the yi’ …. ‘what you pay attention to grows’.. ‘you are what you think’…

These cords naturally occur and can attach at any of my chakras or aura.
However the commonest connection point is the Solar Plexus Chakra because it is the centre of emotions.
Cords can be positive, negative or neutral.
They can be beneficial and productive or harmful and non-productive.
  1. Beneficial cords give us energy & sustenance for example love and connection to our partners, family members and children. Also loving memories and experiences.
  2. Harmful cords can lead to energetic depletion or congestion. These occur when we think about people we don’t lik or remember situations and experiences that cause us anxiety, fear or anger
  3. Neutral cords attach us to routine or mundane tasks and cause neither harm nor benefit.                 (The Power of Prana by Master Stephen Co & Eric Robins).
We learn in Pranic Healing that negative and harmful cords the main cause of energetic contamination and what the corresponding health issues are. The power of Pranic Healing is that it teaches the protocols for cutting cords, removing contaminated or congested energy and how to restore the balance of energy.

Through Pranic Healing we learn to scan (feel) energetic cords and cut or disconnect these negative energetic cords. In fact you can learn not to connect the negative energetic cords in the first place!!

What is the technique to cut negative energetic cords?
This process is very simple yet the effect is rapid and dramatic.
·        Visualize the person, object or issue that causes you anger or anxiety in front of you and the energetic cord connecting you and the ‘problem’.
Most negative cords are rooted and connected in the Solar Plexus chakra.
·        Now form the intention to cut the negative cords and use your hand in three downward chopping action across the front of yourself.

You may feel relief immediately or this may need to be repeated a number of times.
You can’t overdo this technique or cause yourself any harm in the process.
It is about forming the intention to cut and release the energetic cords that have been created and to set yourself and the other person free.

Other techniques to maintain etheric hygiene are: meditation, exercises, correct breathing, salt baths or shower, cleansing ocean swim and many other ways are introduced in the Pranic Healing Courses to help heal our physical, mental and emotional bodies.

What is the Truth?

Lama Milarepa (1040-1123)
Tibet’s greatest poet-saint.
Milarepa is said to have attained Nirvana in a single lifetime!
One of his great teachings on Truth:

'All worldly pursuits have but the one unavoidable and inevitable end,
which is sorrow.
Acquisition ends in dispersion,
Building, in destruction,
Meeting, in separation,
Birth, in death.

Knowing this one should set about realizing the Truth.
Life is short and
The time of death is uncertain,
So apply yourself to meditation …

Therefore, every moment of life is to be lived calmly, mindfully as if it were the last,
to ensure that the most is made of the precious human state'

WESAK FESTIVAL - full moon in May

Master Choa Kok Sui, Modern day founder of Pranic Healing tells us:
Once a year, on what is considered to be the most powerful full moon of the year, your Higher Soul gets the chance and privilege to immerse in a downpour of Divine Energy.
This Divine Energy purifies your auras, chakras and physical body and allows more spiritual energy to infuse your being fully with the excess energy going to bless Mother Earth.
As you Bless Mother Earth you generate tremendous amounts of good karma that can be utilized to bring forth Prosperity, Joy and Happiness in both your Spiritual & Material Life.

"At the time of the full moon in Taurus, there is opened a channel of communication between humanity and God, down which the love and wisdom of God Himself can pour to a waiting and needy world. At this time great expansions of consciousness become possible which are not possible at other times." - Holy Master DK through Alice Bailey

Join us for the Monday evening Meditation (May 12th & 19th) , here at the Pranic Healing & Meditation Centre to celebrate this full moon.

This full moon is also a celebration of the Lord Buddha's birth, attainment of enlightenment and physical death. This is a wonderful opportunity for all spiritual aspirants to be instruments of the Higher Beings through which Divine Love, Divine Light and Divine Power can flow down to Mother Earth and all Sentient Beings.

All are welcome & no meditation experience is required.

SPIRITUALITY

Master Choa Kok Sui says:
Spirituality is not our experiences in meditation.
It is how we deal with our daily life.
He also tells us:
To the disciple naught occurs but what is in the plan.
That which eventuates has in it the seeds of the next enterprise
In a similar theme from the Christian contemplative tradition in the Rule of Benedict:
Spirituality is described as the sum total of the attitudes and actions with which we live the ordinary life extremely well
And Krishnamurti tells us that:
Spirituality can only be fruitful if it is lived.

Meditation matters

An ageing master grew tired of his apprentice’s complaints. One morning, he sent him to get some salt. When the apprentice returned, the master told him to mix a handful of salt in a glass of water and then drink it.

“How does it taste?” the master asked.
“Bitter,” said the apprentice.

The master chuckled and then asked the young man to take the same handful of salt and put it in the lake. The two walked in silence to the nearby lake and once the apprentice swirled his handful of salt in the water, the old man said, “Now drink from the lake.”

As the water dripped down the young man’s chin, the master asked, “How does it taste?”
“Fresh,” remarked the apprentice.
“Do you taste the salt?” asked the master.
“No,” said the young man. At this the master sat beside this serious young man, and explained softly,

The pain of life is pure salt; no more, no less. The amount of pain in life remains exactly the same. However, the amount of bitterness we taste depends on the container we put the pain in. So when you are in pain, the only thing you can do is to enlarge your sense of things. Stop being a glass. Become a lake.”

Meditation matters.

Practice Voluntary Attention.

As you look for the ‘extraordinary’ in the ‘ordinary’ with people or situations a transformation will occur. The 'ordinary' will suddenly appear as a many faceted diamond, a blessing, a thing of beauty, a lesson, a gift, or a profound teaching moment.
Voluntary Attention is one of the signs of maturity, it is a sign of a developed Will.
The Will is always strong however it is the mind that needs to be trained.
Practice voluntary attention.

FOCUS ON YOUR SOUL AND YOUR GOALS WILL FLOURISH

A spiritual focus on goals puts the focus firmly on your Soul.
If you focus on the Soul, all your other goals will manifest much more easily. If you want success, abundance and happiness, you must align with your Soul first.
Unlike many of the current thought leaders and success theories that encourage a total focus on your strengths, the Master Choa Kok Sui ( MCKS) approach to achieving success includes taking time to recognize and reflect on your weaknesses and then setting goals to overcome them.
Strengths and weaknesses are energy.  As you vibrate at the level of your strengths or your weaknesses, you magnetize more of this to yourself. This means it is vital to catch bad behaviour quickly and replace it with a positive outcome.
The universe is constantly giving to us. By setting goals and addressing your weaknesses, you open up the channel to these gifts. You need a target because what you pay attention to… grows.
As we are invisible to ourselves, it is essential to listen to feedback from others, particularly given the tendency to add a PR gloss to our weaknesses. Don’t take feedback personally, but focus objectively on the information being given and pay witness to where we can then see it playing out in our lives.
It’s also useful to look at your mistakes over the recent past because if you don’t, you are highly likely to repeat them. Reflect on your blocks and limitations, but don’t indulge in too much remorse – this only feeds the mistake.
A small amount of remorse is good as it tells you that your action is not coming from a spiritual level. Your soul wants you to learn your lessons, and to do this you need to be able to observe both your strengths and weaknesses.
An effective technique to assist in setting effective goals is to write down a list of your weaknesses. Against each weakness write the opposite strength and set a goal that will help you develop this strength. Against each goal consider the question: “and then what” and write down your answer. Do this a number of times, and see where this leads you. The outcome will be revealing!
Another important way to ensure you reach your goals is to build up your chakras. Chakras are the vital interplay between the Soul and the body. Our strengths and weaknesses are a function of the chakras and if these are not functioning well the negative aspects of individual chakras will increase.
Master Stephen Co (Archarya and Director of the US Pranic Healing Foundation) focuses on goals during his recent videostream  In his address, Master Stephen emphasizes the importance of cleansing thoroughly in order to disintegrate and remove old patterns so as to start again with a clean slate. Otherwise, you will be “hauling a ball and chain of old thought forms and energy.”
His approach is inspiring: “Set goals and have a target. Go and blast through the boulder of inner obstacles. Give yourself the opportunity. Try. Aim high, and keep raising the bar.
“Take responsibility. You are your own driving force. Be the driving force of your success.
“If you put yourself in the position where you are constantly pushing, at some stage you no longer need to push. Set a pattern, so the momentum becomes part of you,” Master Stephen recommends.
“Study, meditate and practice. You may need a nudge, and it can be helpful to have a trainer. A teacher is like a spiritual trainer.”

While each individual is the key to their own success, help is at hand. The US Pranic Healing Centre will do more video streams throughout 2014 while the Brisbane Pranic Healing Centre runs a full program of individual and group activities from its Newmarket Base.

A visit to the GMCKS Ashram is a gift to your soul

Pranic healing teacher, Fara Curlewis, recently returned from her third visit to the GMCKS Ashram in India where she completed the Fortnight Intensive Meditation Program. One of her long term students and Arhat, Lorelei Baum, jumped at the opportunity to formally interview Fara and writes her interpretation of the session here:

A visit to the GMCKS Ashram is a gift to your soul. All of your day-to-day demands, distractions and commitments are removed, there is no need to cook, clean or address the usual demands of a busy life. Instead, the focus is on a structured program of exercise, breathing, meditation and book study in a beautiful natural environment.

Fara points out that the purpose of the practice is to quieten the emotions and thoughts. What arises is amazing – clarity, insights and understanding at a profound level.

The purpose is to harness the body, mind and emotions, so the Divine can arise. To achieve this one has to create the space, which the program at the Ashram is designed for. To embody the intensity of the experience at least two weeks are recommended. The first days are spent adjusting to a new and finer vibrational level.

“It is almost too subtle to describe in words, but I saw a vision for myself of surrender, and what it would mean to have abundance in my life” says Fara.

“Part of my nature is to hold on to things, yet I know I’m a vessel, the more I give, the more I will have to give. The more I can be a clear vessel, the more energy, healing and service can flow through me.”

Insights occur at a very profound level:  “I have gained a deeper understanding of what generosity is,” Fara continues. “It is only in giving that we receive. While there is a constant struggle between the personality and the essence, as I learn to surrender and trust generosity will just naturally occur.”

“In the same way, I’ve always had the understanding that I am a teacher. At the Ashram I understood this at a deeper level.  My experience is that when somebody speaks as a conductor or channel people receive the experience that they need.”

Another deepened insight Fara described was to remember how Grand Master Choa Kok Sui said to follow simple instructions and she now understands why this is so important.

“It works on all levels. The more and more I follow simple instructions, the more and more I see that the instructions I’m giving have an effect. This pulls me towards trying to practice the next bit and then the next bit,” Fara says.
“It pulls me to the results I have always wanted for my life. I don’t always have to understand why the instructions work. If I follow the simple instructions of a teacher who is proven, I get proven results, which draws me into doing more.”

Yet a person has to come out of the Ashram in order to put into practice what is learnt there.
“It’s no use having a spiritual experience without practical application,” Fara says. “I need to continue to find time to meditate, stay aware, continue with inner reflection to stay topped up until the next visit to the Ashram.

“The Fortnight Intensive Meditation Program is offered twice a year and next year I’d like to go to both programs,” says Fara. “The experience is so sensational.”
The GMCKS Arhatic Yoga Ashram is located in the cool hills an hour’s drive from Pune, five hours from Mumbai, India. The ground is consecrated by GMCKS and is covered in high energy crystals mostly of clear quartz. A diversity of people from all around the world and all age groups attend.

A full program is offered throughout the year supervised by Master Teachers (Acharyas) and attended by Arhatic Yogis from around the world. Visit www.gmcksashram.org  or contact the Pranic Healing Centre for more information.

A story from GMCKS Arhatic Ashram, India

The Suitcase
A man died, when he realized it he saw God coming closer with a suitcase in his hand.
God said: “Alright son its time to go”.
Surprised, the man replied “Now? So soon? But I had a lot of plans.”
“I’m sorry but it is time to go.” God replied.

“What do you have in the suitcase?” The man asked.
God answered “Your belongings.”

“My belongings? You mean my things, my clothes, my money?”
God answered “These things are not yours they belong to the Earth.”

“Is it my memories?” The man asked.
God answered: “those never belonged to you, they belonged to Time.”

“Then is it my talents?”
God answered: “those were never yours they belonged to the Circumstances.”

“Is it my friends and family?”
God answered: “I am sorry they were never yours either for they belonged to the Path.”

“Is it my wife & child?”
God answered: “They were never yours they belong to your Heart.”

“Is it my body?”
God answered: “even that was never yours it belongs to the Dust.”

“Is it my Soul?”
God answered: “No for that is Mine.”

Full of fear the man took the suitcase from God, opened it and found it empty…
With a tear coming down his cheek the man said “You mean I never had anything?”

God answered
“That is correct. Every moment you lived were only yours.
Life is just a moment. A moment that belongs to you.
For this reason enjoy this time while you have it.
Don’t let anything you think you own stop you from doing so.
Live now! Live your life!
Don’t forget to be happy, that is the only thing that matters.
Material things and everything else that you fought for stay here.
You cannot take anything.”
