each meditation is a new journey

My experience is ‘the more I meditate the more I need to meditate’ this doesn’t happen overnight & yet is does happen
What is meditation?
Each individual meditation is a new journey or pilgrimage.
Such journeys have been tested & signposted by mystics from all spiritual traditions & spiritual teachers throughout time.
Where does the journey take me?
Meditation is an activity that allows me to experience my inner world.
There is a very big difference between my outer world & my inner world !
One is the ‘grasping’ (Lord Buddha) world of the 5 senses, the egoic defences & the personality - all of which create suffering.

The inner world (also known as heaven) is the place of stillness, peace, bliss, knowing & a place that feels like a real home.
Meditation allows me to turn within, it turns the volume down on my personality & allows me to feel the fine & subtle energy of the essence.

Master Choa Kok Sui, founder of Pranic Healing & author of over 19 books on the subject, provides a map for the journey.
He provides a map & a list of 5 requirements or foundations for a spiritual journey.
This map & list of requirements allows the traveller to be safe, grounded & steady & to be both spiritual & practical!
These requirements are:
1.      Respect for the Divine
2.      Techniques for physical purification & inner purification
3.      Meditation techniques to ensure a balanced growth
4.      A recommended list of books to study
5.      Service & tithing
For example:
Meditation creates an inner charge (yin energy) & this needs to be balanced & expressed as service & tithing (yang energy).

May all your visions & goals materialize rapidly & properly in 2012

(For vision & goals to materialize they must be written for the year, the month, the week & the day)

‘You have to ask for what you want’ is an important spiritual principle.
So the question is:
What is my purpose or target for 2012?
If I don’t have a purpose or target what will happen?
Well... I then ‘create’ by default.

Our default settings are the result of egoic defenses/ personality & are unconscious & invisible  most/all of the time. These invisible thoughts or seeds are almost always negative & based in fear, anger or envy. Examples include: ‘there is never enough’, ‘I don’t deserve....’, ‘how come they get ...’, ‘that’s not fair’, etc.

All thoughts have a vibration level.
Therefore only thoughts, emotions & deeds of the highest vibration level are what I want for 2012.

Master Choa Kok Sui in his Spiritual Business Management Course introduces the student to esoteric spiritual principles for being successful in business & personal life.
It is suggested that we set aside...
10 mins to plan for our daily activities
1 hour to plan our weekly activities
1 day to plan our monthly activities
1 week to plan our activities for the year!

Planning is a very important activity & needs time, practice & regular evaluation. By taking this time it enables me to get the best results that are possible for me.
Remember I may not be karmically entitled to something this year & may need to work on building my positive karma to produce the results.

Therefore I need to intelligently plan, evaluate and prioritise for 2012.
With practice (& plenty of mistakes) other qualities like clear vision & discernment will begin to arise.

A good rule of thumb is:
1st half of life: ‘we have to love what we do’
2nd half of life ‘we have to do what we love’

To charge up your visions & goals for 2012 and beyond remember the power of participating in full moon meditations!
The first full moon meditation for 2012 is on the 9th Jan, 7-8.30pm in Newmarket @ the Pranic Healing Centre & please bring your visions & goals for blessings!

28,800 breaths a day!

When I use my breath as a focus point as if I were paying attention to the pointy end of a pin I access an ocean of .... is it peace? Love? Calmness? or stillness?

I have the experience of all of this & yet I suspect it is nothingness. For in this ocean of nothingness are all of these qualities.

The breath is part of the respiratory system - oxygen rich air in, carbon dioxide rich moist air out.

The respiratory process’ job is to bring a constant supply of oxygen to each & every living cell so they can carry on their metabolism & then remove the portions of the waste!
The average person takes 28,800 breaths a day.

The breath is made up of 4 steps: in, pause, out, pause....repeated 28,800 times a day

The pause or gap after the breath in & after the breath out are as important as the expansion of the lungs & the deflation of the lungs.

The pauses or gaps are like the spaces between words, music notes, thoughts, dance movements or emotions. The pauses, gaps or spaces are equally magnificent as they make up the whole.
Holding awareness of the breath as if ‘paying attention to the pointy end of a pin’

As the Tao Te Ching states in chapter 11
titled Emptiness: (translation & interpretation by David Burke 2004)

“Thirty spokes unite in the hub of the wheel.
Between the spokes, where there is nothing
Its usefulness can be found.

Fire clay and make a vessel.
Where there is no clay,
The usefulness of clay pots is found”...

The Lord’s Prayer as a powerful Kundalini Meditation

The Lord’s Prayer as a powerful Kundalini Meditation.
When I was a child, I somehow understood the Lord’s Prayer was an important part of the Sunday Church service. Then as a student at a church school we recited this Christian prayer 2-3 times a day... often in way that was mechanical & without meaning.

Despite this, I have often come back to this very traditional prayer for both the tough times & as part of the celebrations for the good times. This prayer has always had a peaceful & lightening effect on me & now with my understanding & experience of Pranic Healing I now know how & why and can now have that beautiful experience more often!
The Lord’s Prayer was first linked to the awakening of the 7 chakra energy system by channeller and spiritual teacher Edgar Cayce (1877- 1945).

Master Choa Kok Sui (1954-2007) author of Pranic Healing then researched this idea further.
What Master Choa Kok Sui reveals in his book & meditation CD of the Lord’s Prayer is the inner teachings of this prayer & how it is a systematic activation of the 11 chakras as they correlate phrase by phrase to the Lord’s Prayer. It is a powerful Kundalini awakening meditation!

To experience this ancient prayer as an activation of the energy system (aura & chakras) for the expansion of consciousness is a beautiful, powerful & profound experience for me & many others.
How does it work & what is the effect.

Lord’s Prayer phrase by phrase
Activates a specific chakra
The effect is:

Crown Chakra

Give us this day our daily bread
Front & Back Spleen Chakra
Increased energy for physical & psychological well-being
Forgive us for our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us
Meng Mein Chakra
enhanced ability to forgive & facilitate your inner healing (symbolically transmute ‘lead into gold’)
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
Sex Chakra
Transmutation of sex energy into loving energy, creative energy & Divine energy
For thine is the kingdom,
Basic Chakra
The awakening of Kundalini energy
The Power, the Glory
Spleen & Meng Mein chakra
The awakened Kundalini energy is circulated around the body on its way to the crown
Forever & ever. Amen
Crown Chakra
The Spiritual energy from the Crown & the Kundalini energy from the Basic Chakra are brought together to manifest as expansion of consciousness

Forgiveness is a transcendent force that releases you more than the other.

Forgiveness
Understanding the essence of forgiveness is one of the most healing & liberating gifts you can give yourself. Master Choa Kok Sui (founder of Pranic Healing) describes 7 levels of forgiveness. The journey for this lifetime is to get to level 1 & be able to live from this place.

So what are the levels?
When one forgives:
1.      after 2-3 lifetimes
2.      before dying
3.      after 20-30 years
4.      after 2-5 years
5.      after several months
6.      after several days
7.      within 0-5 mins

Pranic Healing offers both the principles & techniques to achieve this.

What are the benefits of forgiveness?
Improved health, clarity, , lighter and more beautiful relationships with yourself and others, more abundance, freedom, peace, happiness, vitality and an increased connection to the divine.

Forgiveness is a transcendent force that releases you more than the other.
Forgiveness releases you from an egoic state of unconsciousness (Myss, C. Defy Gravity2009)
Myss describes forgiveness as all-inclusive, encompassing childhood pain, broken marriages, betrayal,  unresolved differences, deals gone body & personal acts of misconduct & misbehaviour.
If you want to know more you are welcome to schedule a consultation session.
