What are energetic cords?

Our physical body is surrounded by our energy body or aura.
How I manage my energy body affects me physically, mentally and emotionally.
It will affect how I see the world and live my life.
According to Master Choa Kok Sui,
when I  generate a thought, the thought attaches itself to the object contemplated.
The action of the thought extends a portion of my aura to the object of attention.
This extended aura takes the form of a thin thread of prana called an energetic cord.

‘Naturally the stronger the emotional connection to the person, object or issue of attention (either positive or negative) the stronger and more tenacious the cord’.
(The Power of Prana by Master Stephen Co & Eric Robins p 67).

So each time I put my attention on or have a reaction to something or someone I create an energetic cord. Hence the sayings: ‘energy follows thought’ … ‘the chi follows the yi’ …. ‘what you pay attention to grows’.. ‘you are what you think’…

These cords naturally occur and can attach at any of my chakras or aura.
However the commonest connection point is the Solar Plexus Chakra because it is the centre of emotions.
Cords can be positive, negative or neutral.
They can be beneficial and productive or harmful and non-productive.
  1. Beneficial cords give us energy & sustenance for example love and connection to our partners, family members and children. Also loving memories and experiences.
  2. Harmful cords can lead to energetic depletion or congestion. These occur when we think about people we don’t lik or remember situations and experiences that cause us anxiety, fear or anger
  3. Neutral cords attach us to routine or mundane tasks and cause neither harm nor benefit.                 (The Power of Prana by Master Stephen Co & Eric Robins).
We learn in Pranic Healing that negative and harmful cords the main cause of energetic contamination and what the corresponding health issues are. The power of Pranic Healing is that it teaches the protocols for cutting cords, removing contaminated or congested energy and how to restore the balance of energy.

Through Pranic Healing we learn to scan (feel) energetic cords and cut or disconnect these negative energetic cords. In fact you can learn not to connect the negative energetic cords in the first place!!

What is the technique to cut negative energetic cords?
This process is very simple yet the effect is rapid and dramatic.
·        Visualize the person, object or issue that causes you anger or anxiety in front of you and the energetic cord connecting you and the ‘problem’.
Most negative cords are rooted and connected in the Solar Plexus chakra.
·        Now form the intention to cut the negative cords and use your hand in three downward chopping action across the front of yourself.

You may feel relief immediately or this may need to be repeated a number of times.
You can’t overdo this technique or cause yourself any harm in the process.
It is about forming the intention to cut and release the energetic cords that have been created and to set yourself and the other person free.

Other techniques to maintain etheric hygiene are: meditation, exercises, correct breathing, salt baths or shower, cleansing ocean swim and many other ways are introduced in the Pranic Healing Courses to help heal our physical, mental and emotional bodies.

What is the Truth?

Lama Milarepa (1040-1123)
Tibet’s greatest poet-saint.
Milarepa is said to have attained Nirvana in a single lifetime!
One of his great teachings on Truth:

'All worldly pursuits have but the one unavoidable and inevitable end,
which is sorrow.
Acquisition ends in dispersion,
Building, in destruction,
Meeting, in separation,
Birth, in death.

Knowing this one should set about realizing the Truth.
Life is short and
The time of death is uncertain,
So apply yourself to meditation …

Therefore, every moment of life is to be lived calmly, mindfully as if it were the last,
to ensure that the most is made of the precious human state'

WESAK FESTIVAL - full moon in May

Master Choa Kok Sui, Modern day founder of Pranic Healing tells us:
Once a year, on what is considered to be the most powerful full moon of the year, your Higher Soul gets the chance and privilege to immerse in a downpour of Divine Energy.
This Divine Energy purifies your auras, chakras and physical body and allows more spiritual energy to infuse your being fully with the excess energy going to bless Mother Earth.
As you Bless Mother Earth you generate tremendous amounts of good karma that can be utilized to bring forth Prosperity, Joy and Happiness in both your Spiritual & Material Life.

"At the time of the full moon in Taurus, there is opened a channel of communication between humanity and God, down which the love and wisdom of God Himself can pour to a waiting and needy world. At this time great expansions of consciousness become possible which are not possible at other times." - Holy Master DK through Alice Bailey

Join us for the Monday evening Meditation (May 12th & 19th) , here at the Pranic Healing & Meditation Centre to celebrate this full moon.

This full moon is also a celebration of the Lord Buddha's birth, attainment of enlightenment and physical death. This is a wonderful opportunity for all spiritual aspirants to be instruments of the Higher Beings through which Divine Love, Divine Light and Divine Power can flow down to Mother Earth and all Sentient Beings.

All are welcome & no meditation experience is required.

SPIRITUALITY

Master Choa Kok Sui says:
Spirituality is not our experiences in meditation.
It is how we deal with our daily life.
He also tells us:
To the disciple naught occurs but what is in the plan.
That which eventuates has in it the seeds of the next enterprise
In a similar theme from the Christian contemplative tradition in the Rule of Benedict:
Spirituality is described as the sum total of the attitudes and actions with which we live the ordinary life extremely well
And Krishnamurti tells us that:
Spirituality can only be fruitful if it is lived.

Meditation matters

An ageing master grew tired of his apprentice’s complaints. One morning, he sent him to get some salt. When the apprentice returned, the master told him to mix a handful of salt in a glass of water and then drink it.

“How does it taste?” the master asked.
“Bitter,” said the apprentice.

The master chuckled and then asked the young man to take the same handful of salt and put it in the lake. The two walked in silence to the nearby lake and once the apprentice swirled his handful of salt in the water, the old man said, “Now drink from the lake.”

As the water dripped down the young man’s chin, the master asked, “How does it taste?”
“Fresh,” remarked the apprentice.
“Do you taste the salt?” asked the master.
“No,” said the young man. At this the master sat beside this serious young man, and explained softly,

The pain of life is pure salt; no more, no less. The amount of pain in life remains exactly the same. However, the amount of bitterness we taste depends on the container we put the pain in. So when you are in pain, the only thing you can do is to enlarge your sense of things. Stop being a glass. Become a lake.”

Meditation matters.

Practice Voluntary Attention.

As you look for the ‘extraordinary’ in the ‘ordinary’ with people or situations a transformation will occur. The 'ordinary' will suddenly appear as a many faceted diamond, a blessing, a thing of beauty, a lesson, a gift, or a profound teaching moment.
Voluntary Attention is one of the signs of maturity, it is a sign of a developed Will.
The Will is always strong however it is the mind that needs to be trained.
Practice voluntary attention.
