What is Arhatic Yoga?

What is Arhatic Yoga®?

Arhatic Yoga® is a comprehensive system of spiritual practices that rapidly and safely can accelerate spiritual evolution and union with the Divine.

The word "ARHATIC" is derived from 'arhat' which describes a highly evolved being. This advanced yoga system given to Master Choa Kok Sui by his teacher by Mahaguruji Mei Ling has its origins in China, India and Tibet. In addition to being an advanced technique practiced by Spiritual Initiates, it also brings together & synthesizes all seven branches of yoga.

Over this 2 day training we learn and experience the essence and powers of these branches of yoga: Raja yoga, Karma yoga, Kundalini yoga, Jnana yoga, Bhakti yoga, Mantra yoga and Hatha yoga.

The first step is the purification of the physical, etheric, astral, and mental bodies. The chakras are then activated in a sequence to safely and effectively awaken and circulate Kundalini energy throughout the body. This ancient technique was practiced by very advanced and evolved yogis. It is the foundation for building the much coveted 'Golden Body'!

What is the purpose of Arhatic Yoga?

Master Chao kok Sui, the founder of modern Pranic Healing says

"The purpose of Arhatic Yoga is to produce intelligent, compassionate, good hearted, powerful spiritual beings."

What is Arhatic Yoga? A 4 min introduction to Arhatic Yoga from www.https://pranaworld.net/

My personal experience of Arhatic Yoga®

After seeking & searching throughout my adult life and in many traditions for a spiritual path to find peace, joy and help me make sense of this life I had the good fortune to attend MCKS' Arhatic Yoga (Prep Level) in Sydney in 2004.

This training was lead by Master Choa Kok Sui himself and by the end of the weekend my spiritual thirst was finally quenched! I knew that I had been shown a path to grow and evolve, to find peace and purpose in my life. This path was structured, containing techniques for purification, inner reflection, character building and meditations.

I have practiced the techniques of Arhatic Yoga ever since and have progressed onto the higher teachings and levels.

Master Choa Kok Sui’s Arhatic practice is a way to develop the Golden Body allowing one to access and experience higher intuition, deeper teachings and these are supported by the gifts and graces of a purposeful life.

"99% of the understandings and applications of these tools and techniques are discovered by the students when they practice Arhatic Yoga."(MCKS)

What does MCKS’ Arhatic Yoga© offer?

Arhatic Yoga (Prep Level) introduces you to:

  • Four unique meditations. Two of these meditations are taught in the Pranic Healing courses (Twin Hearts & Meditation on the Soul) plus another to cleanse one's chakras and energy body. Another meditation is to awaken your Kundalini energy. These meditations systematically balance and expand your chakras, allowing you to build your sensitivity and capacity to perceive and contain the subtle vibrations of the Divine.
  • Three breathing techniques are presented to help build the energy body and increase the circulation of energy within the physical, etheric, emotional & mental bodies.
  • A powerful cleansing & purifying technique is also given to displace fear, anxiety, anger, frustration and all forms of suffering from the subtle bodies and replace them with the virtues of generosity, loving-kindness, compassion, one-pointedness, honesty & discernment.

Chi Energy and Pranic Healing

How Does Chi Energy Affect Your Life?

Chi (also called qi) is usually translated as a ‘vital life force’ in English. However, chi is more than just that simple translation. In fact, there is probably no word in any Western language that describes what it really is. Based on Classical Eastern Philosophy, this energy is what makes up and binds all things in the universe together. It is a paradox; chi is both nothing and everything. This concept may sound strange and unrelated to health and wellbeing—unless of course, you are studying Pranic Healing, Traditional Chinese Medicine or Acupuncture. That is why in this article, we will explore the definition and concept of chi energy and how it relates to energy healing.

How Chi Relates to Pranic Healing

In Traditional Eastern Medicine, chi is divided into two branches. The first branch is the physical or nourishing part, which is the food, water and air you take in. The second branch is more substantial and is the vital fluids and the energy that flows through your body.

You can imagine the first branch as the things you take in and aren’t a part of you yet, while the second branch is something that is already a part of you and is later released to continue the life cycle. These imbalances and interruptions are responsible for our ailments whether emotional, mental, or physical.

So, how does chi energy affect the human body?

Yin and Yang

Understanding this concept is important when learning about chi. Yin is the side of chi that’s cold, heavy, solid, passive, descending, dark, and moist—it is the physical or receptive portion of the universe. Yang is ethereal and is the expansive, rising, hot, dry, active, and nebulous side of the universe.

Here is an example of different Yin-Yang relationships:

YinYang
DeathBirth
CalmExpressive
FluidsEnergy
SlowFast
MoonSun
EarthSky
ColdHot

These two sides do not exist outside the other. They exist within each other and should exist together to achieve balance. Yin (form) and yang (function) are interdependent and it is this balance that defines and creates good emotions and health.

Chi Energy: How to Maintain the Balance

Like yin-yang, chi must be balanced to attain good health. When there is an imbalance, illnesses arise depending on the type of chi and whether there is an excess or lack of it.

  • Deficiency of Chi – this can manifest in the lack of physical things a body needs to function properly. It can also manifest as a lack of love, social interaction, and mental stimulation.
  • Excess of Chi – an excess in chi is just as worse, if not worse, than a lack of chi. It is usually the result of environmental toxins such as polluted water or air. It can also be caused by stress, overeating, excess in physical activity, and strong negative emotions.

Curing this imbalance is the main goal of Pranic Healing, TCM, including acupuncture.

Types of Chi Energy

Below are the types of chi inside the human body. It is crucial to maintain proper balance among these types to prevent disharmony.

Parental Chi

Also known as yuan chi, you inherit your parental chi from your parents at birth. This is then stored in the kidneys as you grow older.

Pectoral Chi

Referred to as zong chi, pectoral chi is made by breathing. This is stored in the chest area.

Nutritional Chi

Called as ying chi, nutritional chi is derived from the foods you eat. Its job is to ensure the proper circulation of nutrition in the body.

Defensive Chi

Also known as wei chi, your defensive chi is responsible for protecting your body against illnesses. While it is the yang of nutritional chi, in the sense that they are both derived from eating foods, it serves a different purpose.

H2: Functions of Chi Energy

Each of the types of chi has five main functions. They are the following:

Actuation

Chi helps maintain the vital life energy a body needs to grow and develop properly like the Zang-fu (organs that produce Chi) meridians, and Xue (blood) When there is a chi deficiency, these vital entities are impacted negatively and lead to dis-ease.

Warming

Chi can help produce heat and regulate body temperature so you can function normally. A chi deficiency may lead to low body temperature, cold limbs, and a liking toward hot drinks as a way of fighting this.

Defending

Chi helps defend the body from external elements like pathogens and environmental factors. A deficiency in chi energy can result in the formation of illnesses.

Transformation

Chi is responsible for turning air and nutrition into different types of chi, including blood.

Containment

Chi is responsible for making sure that your body’s organs and fluids stay in their proper places. It’s also responsible for regulating blood flow in the vessels to make sure it doesn’t leak out, and for regulating jin ye (body fluids such as sweat and saliva) to ensure that only the right amount leaves the body. A deficiency in chi can lead to problems related to body fluids and organ failures.

How to Tap into and Cultivate Your Chi Energy

When chi cannot circulate in your body, this blockage may lead to pain, fatigue, and disease. It is, therefore, crucial to enhance your chi and allow it to flow without resistance-this is the effect of Pranic Healing.

Here are some other practices that can help improve the quality and flow of this energy:

Acupuncture and Shiatsu Massage

Originating in China, acupuncture is an ancient practice that involves inserting thin needles on certain points in the body. The needles help break up the blockages to let chi flow naturally.

Meanwhile, shiatsu massage comes from Japan with methods based on Chinese practices. Like acupuncture, this massage therapy promotes the flow of chi energy in the body by using the thumbs, palms, and fingers. Compared to traditional massages, it focuses on the body’s internal energy system and combines acupressure and stretching techniques to rebalance the energy flow in your body.

Tai Chi

Also called “moving meditation,” tai chi is a set of exercises focused on posture and breathing. Using low-impact and slow movements, it improves circulation and balance to create, control, and restore your chi.

Chi Gong

Also known as chi kung, chi gong is another ancient Chinese holistic system that uses various movements, breathing techniques, and meditation to encourage the flow of chi.

Yoga

In yoga philosophy, chi is called Prana. Like tai chi, it improves the body’s overall condition and helps control your chi. Holding certain poses accumulates the chi to create a blockage. Once you release the pose, you will also release the blockage and allow your chi to flow properly again. Plus, it helps with relaxation and improves your sleep, which reduces the cause of chi blockages in your body.

Meditation

Knowing how to relax and empty your thoughts are useful skills in your everyday life. This can result in enhancing your chi energy rather than holding onto negative energies.

Lower dan-tian (abdominal) breathing meditation involves sitting on a chair and focusing as your breath leaves and enters your body. Focus on the lower abdomen area and how it feels as you take in each breath.

Mastering this skill helps improve focus. Therefore, it helps in reducing stress, which causes chi blockages in the first place.

Breathing Exercises

Chi exercises are focused on improving your breathing. Here is a focused breathing exercise that you can do to tap into your chi:

  • Find a comfortable sitting position.
  • Breathe in through your nose. As you breathe out through your mouth, extend your breath as much as you can.
  • Once the body inhales naturally again slowly breathe in air through your nose.
  • Release that air by opening your mouth.

This exercise allows you to regain control over your breathing. As you perform these chi energy exercises, always remember how crucial your breathing is in regaining the energy in your body.

Conclusion

High levels of stress can affect your relationships, productivity, and health. Fortunately, developing healthy habits can help relieve stress and enhance day-to-day activities.

When you enhance your chi energy you improve your energy and vitality and stress levels. The good news is, you can cultivate and master chi in the comfort of your own home. By using the right techniques, you can keep the stress out of your life and prevent them from damaging your health. We hope these tips can help you find your chi and use this chi energy to empower your life.

The Work of Byron Katie PDF; 4 Questions that can change your life.

Byron Katie, The Work pdf contains four easy questions that turn negative thoughts around. It also changes your reaction to situations that stress you and to love reality as is. You need only investigate the thoughts that create stress in your life.

The Work is about awakening or investigating what you’re experiencing this moment.
It’s a great technique to challenge your faulty thinking and be more open-minded.

The more open you are to exploring your deepest beliefs, the more enlightened and relieved you’ll be!

Are you frustrated, unhappy, or stressed? Then let’s have a look at what it all means.

Byron Katie, The Work pdf: The Four Questions

When you are unhappy ask yourself these four questions. It can really help change your perspective:
1.     Is this thought true?
2.     Can I be absolutely sure that it’s true without a doubt?
3.     How do I react when I believe this thought?
4.     Who would I be without this thought?

For example, you have a group presentation due tomorrow and your business partner still hasn’t sent you her research. You may start thinking, “Lisa’s so unreliable. How can she be so careless?”

Write that thought on a piece of paper and answer the questions above.
Is this thought true? Is Lisa really unreliable? Has the same thing happened before or is this the first time? Are you 100% sure that she’s always unreliable?
Then, explore your feelings. Did you get angry? Defensive? Hurt? What if the thought didn’t exist? Would your life be easier?

Most negative thoughts would likely go away once you dig deeper. Once this has been done, you are now ready for the turnaround.

Byron Katie, The Work pdf: The Turnaround

The turnaround is when you look at the original thought in different ways and see how you react to each of them. It’s an extra step after asking yourself the questions now that you’re more open-minded.

The thought “Lisa is unreliable” may slowly turn into the following turnarounds:
1.     Lisa is reliable.
2.     I could be the unreliable one.
3.     There could be more turnarounds…keep investigating until it feels real – or more ‘real’ than the original thought!

Your reactions and feelings toward these turnarounds will vary—and they must! Just make sure to consider them all and follow your gut feeling. Remember that there’s no one right answer, only more options to clarify the original thought.
You can even ask yourself the four questions again for the turnarounds you feel strongly about. Another key when applying The Work is that it isn’t about achieving something or figuring things out.

You’re just investigating the experience further (and your emotions and thoughts) and accepting it as if it were your first time dealing with it.

How to Keep Your Relationships Happy

I wanted to share this recently published article in the Global Pranic Healing Magazine on behalf of the Institute for Inner Studies (link below).

I have been a student of Master Choa Kok Sui's Pranic Healing & Arhatic Yoga © for 22 yrs. His teachings explore, explain and give directions on how to live a better life, to heal yourself & others.
This article is a small example of his teachings and the practical application of his teachings in our everyday lives.
By reading this article my heart chakra was activated, my energy changed and I was reminded of the love and simplicity of his teachings.

Three rules for keeping your relationship happy.
·       Express Love
·      Be Willing to Sacrifice
·      Be Quick to Forgive

Everyone knows what it’s like to experience loss in a relationship. The painful feeling of losing someone you love – it hurts.

Many people come into our lives and leave indelible impressions. Seen from a spiritual standpoint, they come to guide us, give us purpose, teach us or help work out unfinished business. Some stay longer while some seem to leave too soon.

While it’s understandable to be hurt, we owe it to ourselves to not live in pain, sorrow and loneliness. What is important is to improve the quality of our relationships. And to do that, we need three simple elements.

Express Love

Taught by Master Choa Kok Sui, “love is the food that will make your soul grow.”

Every meaningful relationship has love at its foundation. Whether it’s the loving care towards family and friends, or the loving reverence to your Teacher, or the love of collaborating in your work with colleagues, the energy of love is what attracts and sustains the relationship.

It’s no secret that people are attracted to those with a big heart.

In order to receive love, the basic rule is that you need to give love first. It is impossible to be angry and resentful and expect the other person to love you back.

Express your love and appreciation to those around you. See how they bloom.

Be Willing to Sacrifice

When we love someone, we usually sacrifice the little things. Why? Because it makes us happy when we see our loved ones smile.

True love is undeterred by hardship. You have heard stories of people sacrificing their careers to be with their loved ones, or of parents sacrificing their food so their children can eat.

True love requires willpower – the willpower to stand true and stand strong even when things are uncomfortable. Just because the situation is difficult isn’t a good reason to abandon the relationship. It needs work. And that needs willpower.

Be Quick to Forgive

Relationships aren’t always sunshine and rainbows. There are times when they become sour, bitter and difficult. The remedy is forgiveness.

“No matter how sweet and wonderful your Beloved is… there will always be shortcomings. Roses always come with thorns.” Master Choa Kok Sui

No one is perfect, and everybody makes mistakes. People on the spiritual path who have decided to accelerate their growth make many mistakes. It is a mark of spiritual development to be able to be the one to forgive first and let go.

Forgiveness isn’t about who is right or wrong. It is about doing the right thing. When someone is offended, they tend to think about the offender and the unhappy incident repeatedly until they have no peace of mind left.

This tends to make one irritable and proud thereby ruining their other relationships. Forgiveness makes a person feel lighter and more peaceful because it releases pent-up feelings and negative emotions.

The key is to forgive and forgive quickly.
Engaging love, light and will, we have the power to make the best of every relationship we’re in.

What are the 4 Question in The Work of Byron Katie?

A Closer Look at Byron Katie The Work

Byron Katie The Work is known worldwide as a technique for recognizing stressful thoughts that can lead to fear or suffering.
It lets people ask themselves four questions about their stressful thought and allows them to explore the problem and make a new context out of it to allow them to move on.

The Work’s insight follows patterns in cognitive psychology and has been compared to Buddhist teachings, the Socratic dialogue, and 12-step programs.
The process is very simple and all you need is a pen and paper to start. Continue reading this article as we dive into Byron Katie The Work a bit deeper.

Byron Katie The Work: The Scenario

Imagine yourself wandering around the bush on a bright, sunny day. But, as you walk around and admire the beauty of Mother Nature, you felt a sudden jolt of fear through your whole body.
You just saw a brown snake in front of you and nearly stepped on the deadly animal! Though you’re afraid and want to run, something inside says to take another look. You notice the snake is motionless. As you carefully approached it for a second look, you suddenly saw the fibres on an old, decaying rope!

Byron Katie The Work: The Realization

Your mind is most often the one that’s playing tricks on you. In this scenario, all it took was a small rope and your mind made a completely different story out of it.

The more open you are to exploring your deepest beliefs, the more enlightened and relieved you’ll be!

Let’s take some more examples.
A simple disapproval from your partner can make you think he/she doesn’t love you. Or, a single criticism makes you think of a million doubts to suddenly bring you down or amplify into a complete crisis.

How Does Byron Katie The Work Fit In Real Life?

The Work is all about taking a second look. If you go back and take a second look, you’ll start to see more evidence that might show the story your mind created simply wasn’t true.
It’s a way to identify and question the things causing you stress. It’s a set of four questions that you can ask yourself when stressful thoughts arise.

Byron Katie The Work Question # 1: Is it True?

This question requires you to slow down. It’s meant to make you pause and reconsider.
In the first scenario, did you nearly step on a brown snake? Your answer can only be a yes or no. If it’s a no, go to question # 3.

Byron Katie The Work Question # 2: Can You Absolutely Know that it’s True?

Again, the answer can only be a yes or no.
This question is like finding an anomaly. If there’s a small doubt that it isn’t true, the answer is no.

Byron Katie The Work Question # 3: How do You React, What Happens, When You Believe that Thought?

This question lets you look at how these stressful thoughts affect you. Remember that you’re only reporting your actions, not explaining them.
So, in this question, take note of how you felt. In the brown snake example, say that you were scared, your hair stood up, and you panicked.
This question aims to show you what happens once you believe a stressful thought.

Byron Katie The Work Question # 4: Who Would You Be Without that Thought?

This question further clarifies the effect of the thought. However, keep in mind that it isn’t telling you to drop the thought. It’s just asking a hypothetical question of how different an experience may be in that situation without the thought.
If you didn’t think that there was a snake on your foot, you would have calmly stepped over the rope and continued on your way.
Once you become open-minded, there’s more room for peace, balance, and humour.

Byron Katie The Work: The Turnarounds

Turnarounds are statements that are the opposite of the original thought. There may be more than one example showing that the turnaround is true, if not truer, than the original thought.
The key is to look at turnarounds with an open mind.

Just remember The Work isn’t a mind trick—it only suggests going back and having a second look. So, if it were a snake, you’ll be able to see it more clearly and know to keep your distance.
Most things that scare you are often just fragments of your imagination. A little investigation can help cut through those illusions.

Byron Katie The Work - What is it?

‘Loving What Is’ Byron Katie changes concepts on how life should be.

Four questions are all you need to have a different perspective in life—and “Loving What Is” created by Byron Katie is your first step in achieving this.

The author is fond of saying “When you argue with reality you lose – only 100% of the time”

This can be a difficult notion to understand and some questions could remain.

How can you reach the stage where you are actually ‘loving what is’? How can you love and accept the truth that your friend betrayed you, your partner left you for someone else or you have cancer?

The answers can be found in the book “Loving What Is” by Byron Katie. In this post, we’ll show you the process she calls ‘The Work’, which can help you get all the answers you need in life.

The Work in “Loving What Is” Byron Katie: What is It?

It’s a process involving writing down stressful thoughts and asking these 4 questions:
  1. Is it true?
  2. Can I absolutely know it is true?
  3. How do I react when I think that thought?
  4. Who would I be without the thought?

This exercise aims to reveal that your deepest beliefs are usually just misunderstandings. Katie believes that thoughts like “I will never find a partner who loves me” or “My boss shouldn’t have fired me” are often unproven opinions and so can be questioned.

Instead of trying to prove you’re right, she suggests doing the opposite. Free yourself by questioning the belief that things should have been different.

‘Loving What Is’ Byron Katie: Minding Your Business

Byron Katie strongly believes in the idea of minding your own business. She says there are three types of businesses: God’s, mine, and yours. Suffering starts when you get out of your own business and begin interfering with the other two.

For example, you are bothered by the fact that your son didn’t do the dishes like he said he was. Ask yourself “Who’s business is it that he didn’t do the dishes?

What your child does or doesn’t do isn’t your business but theirs. If you want the chore done, that’s your business and you can either do it yourself, remind him to do it or any number of things.

Believing they should’ve done it and they didn’t is guarantying misery and arguing with reality.
‘Loving What Is’ Byron Katie: Applying The Work

The Work can be applied to almost any problem and the more open you are to exploring your deepest beliefs, the more enlightened and relieved you’ll be!

The first step is to write down all the petty complaints you have about a situation. Try not to hold back—the key here is to get to the belief that’s making you uncomfortable and stuck.

Take those beliefs one at a time and answer the questions above. Then turn it around.

Let’s take the statement “My child is lazy.” For the first question “Is it true?” you might say “Yes! They didn’t do what they said they were going to do.” But, if you’re honest, you may say they’re not completely lazy—they excel in school, help with the laundry, etc.

If you’re stuck on the first question, the second will surely nail you. “Can I absolutely know that it’s true?” Truth is, you can’t. There’s no manual for lazy people to consult to prove your thought!

Then, move on to the third question. “How do I react when I think that thought?”

Well, when I think about my child being lazy, I’m tense and get angry. I feel like a bad mother.

From here, ask yourself. “Who would I be without the thought?”

Without thinking the thought that my child is lazy, I see their good qualities clearly. I’d be more relaxed and obviously would be better off without the thought.

Lastly, you turn things around. Turning the thought around means reversing what you wrote; it’s a great way to see your projections. So, in this case, the turnarounds maybe “I can be lazy” or “My child’s not completely lazy” or “My thoughts around my child are lazy”.

These turnarounds feel a lot truer than your first thought and when you investigate the truth, you relax and even love your child more deeply.
‘Loving What Is’ Byron Katie: Embracing Reality

Katie says that your work isn’t done unless you treat everyone and everything in the world as a friend.

‘The Work isn’t for the faint-hearted. It takes courage to accept reality as it is completely.
It helps you learn to love what you have whether you wanted it or not. With time, it’ll bring you to a state of love—more love you even thought was possible.

The Meditation Pathway in Brisbane

Reflections by a first-time participant of our Twin Hearts Meditation Group...

Are you looking for a Meditation Group where you can be guided to your inner world sanctuary?

The Pranic Healing and Meditation Centre in Newmarket holds Twin Hearts Meditation Classes on two Monday evenings during each month. The first is held closest to the full moon and the second the Monday after.

The meditation evenings commence at 7.00pm sharp allowing you plenty of time to have a light dinner beforehand and will conclude by 8.30pm, which also allows you plenty of time to drive home - if you are an early starter for the next day.

Qualified Teacher and Practitioner of Pranic Healing, Fara Curlewis commences each evening with a presentation on the benefits of Meditation so the recipient can comprehend what can happen in their life when the calmness of Meditation is not current.
Our thoughts and actions are combined with dimensions of “Inner and Outer Worlds”; the latter sometimes making it difficult to climb out of situations when in despair.

The Inner World is our sanctum where we can learn to be in the moment, to be still, to meditate. Fara shows you how to draw down and utilise Divine energy into the crown chakra thus promoting empowered physical and emotional energy, good health and inner radiance for spiritual development.

Before commencing the meditation, guests were asked to stand and follow the short and non-evasive exercises given by a group leader. The physical exercises cleanse the etheric body and any used-up prana is expelled.  As well, after the meditation, excess energy is released by moving the body for a few minutes.

The Twin Hearts Meditation gives meditators the opportunity to listen to words by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, (the modern-day founder of Pranic Healing) as we glide into a receptive and relaxed state of mind.

Although there were first-timers as well as experienced and regular meditators in the room, on the Monday evening I attended, there was an atmosphere of Oneness in the room by the end of the session. Each person, individual in his or her path of life, had come together as one and were leaving with a new-found inner beauty and spiritual awareness.

These meditations are free of charge; however, to allow these sessions to remain free so everyone may attend, you are invited to leave a donation.

For more information on the Twin Hearts Meditation evenings, please contact the Pranic Healing Centre on 0418 217 193, email info@pranichealingcentre.com.au or visit their website www.pranichealingcentre.com.au

How do I feel Prana Energy?

What is Prana Energy?
Each breath we take, every movement of the leaves in the trees, the waves in an ocean and the rays from your bedside lamp, these are all sources of abundant energy, which surrounds us. This energy is called Prana Energy. The word ‘Prana’ is from Hindi.
It is also called ‘Chi’ (Chinese), ‘Ki’ (Japanese) and ‘Aka’ (Egyptian).
Understanding the human body and its energy field is an important step in how well-being can be maintained, and healing takes place. The energy field is called an ‘Aura’ and is described in both Latin and Ancient Greek to mean wind, breeze or breath.

Where did this knowledge of Prana Energy come from?
Pranic Healing, the understanding and use of Prana Energy was developed by Master Choa Kok Sui in the late 20th Century. Master Choa through methodical research described and cultivated a profound understanding of the energy healing system. He called this Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga. He developed this system of practices using ancient technologies from all the major religious and spiritual schools. His study on energy enables us to understand simply and powerfully how to activate and align the chakras and to awaken the kundalini energy or ’sacred fire’ in ourselves and others.

Through these techniques and Arhatic Yoga (an advanced Pranic Healing Yoga) one can increase self-worth, develop higher intuition, stabilise the emotions, advance mental powers and lead a balanced and successful life. When your Prana Energy flow is corrected and balanced, your body easily and rightfully heals itself. The technique is simple to learn and can be used by anyone with a desire to be healed and to heal others.

How do I Feel Prana Energy?
Let’s do an experiment. If you rub your hands together vigorously and then gently move them apart after a few seconds, you will feel a warmth and energy between your palms.  If you cannot feel the energy straight away, move your hands back and forth together in a calm manner. You will then feel an energy or even the feel of a small invisible ball between your palms. This energy is alive and although invisible, surrounds your body entirely. Can you imagine utilising this energy to heal yourself and others in a safe and harmonious manner?

How Do I Find Out More about Prana Energy?
If you would like to learn more about this amazing healing technique, The Pranic Healing and Meditation Centre in Newmarket, which was established in 2007, holds Pranic Healing Courses throughout the year - Pranic Level 1, 2 & 3, Arhatic Yoga, Crystal Healing, Kriyashakti, and all the Certified MCKS’s Pranic Healing Courses. Every year senior Master teachers come and teach through the Pranic Healing and Meditation Centre. These courses are structured to suit any budget with payment plans, programs and discounted packages available.  On the completion of each course, students receive an internationally recognised certificate, which bears the gold seal of Master Choa Kok Sui.

Ongoing support through practice sessions, meditation evenings, community Pranic Healing Clinics and one-on-one spiritual mentoring is available to all.

What is Prana Energy?

What is Prana Energy?
‘Prana’ is the name of energy that exists in our world and animates our physical bodies.
This Prana Energy is the vital life force energy that gives us life and sustains our existence.

This prana energy is flowing in, around and through us constantly and there is an abundant supply of this vital life force prana energy available to each of us.
Prana Energy has been known and studied in every religion and spiritual school since the beginning of time.
The word ‘Prana’ is from Hindi, this same energy is also called ‘Chi’(Chinese) or ‘Ki’ (Japanese) and ‘Aka’ (Egyptian).

When Prana Energy is directed, with focused conscious intent and infused with compassion and love it heals. It heals us, others and the world bringing deeper meaning to our lives.
The use of this Prana Energy is fundamental to Pranic Healing. Pranic Healing is a form of ‘energy medicine’ that teaches and guides students to safely harness universal life prana energy to heal themselves and others.

How do I access Prana Energy?
There are many ways to access and enhance your own flow of life sustaining and enriching Prana Energy.
These can be learnt in the Pranic Healing Courses and by practising Pranic Healing breathing techniques, understanding the flow of energy and the nature of the energy anatomy, accessing the prana energies in the air and all around us. In the teachings of Pranic Healing, we learn an important way of accessing and building your own prana energy is by healing yourself, your family and friends and others. These healings can be achieved by practising the seven steps of the Pranic Healing process.

Other ways to access, absorb and integrate prana energy is by being still, quiet and fully present in Meditation, breath awareness and being in nature.
This being fully present and experiencing the quiet spaces within, allows tremendous amounts of Pranic Energy to infuse the aura, chakras and physical body. This process is more available when factors, such as, diet, exercise, laughter, living your passion, releasing negative and limiting belief systems, having compassion, using affirmations and prayers are also considered.

How can Prana Energy help me?
The free flow of Prana Energy is essential for a life of health, happiness and prosperity.
When negative used-up energy is trapped in our aura, chakras and bodies on an everyday basis, our life force prana energy diminishes and depletes and we feel stressed, lethargic, depressed and dispassionate about our own existence. Pranic Healing can help move stuck energy.
The problem of depleted energy can be reversed when we understand our true nature as energy beings and the principles of Prana Energy flow. When the Prana Energy flow is corrected and balanced the body is able to heal itself.

Can anyone learn about Prana Energy?
Yes Pranic Healing is a simple, practical and effective energy healing system that anyone can learn and use.
